Gertrud Prohaska AUSTRIA (22-05-2010) "A very beautiful houseboat and a very very nice, central and quiet place to stay in Amsterdam. And the organisation was also very good and easy! Thank´s!"

Philippe Serres France (17-05-2010) "I usually go to Amsterdam once or twice a year and I love to stay on this houseboat rather than anywhere else : * it is very spacious, functional and very well equipped. * it is very bright due to its large windows overlooking the canal. * you can put a table and chairs on a terrace outside (when the weather is fine). * it is located in a central area between the Amstel River and the Rijksmuseum, along a quiet street with no traffic noise. * it's only a two minute walk to reach a tram stop and get directly to Central Station or to the main tourist attractions. * there is a supermarket on the other side of the canal, just opposite, which is very convenient. And most of all : I don't have a feeling of confined space like in a hotel room. Through the large windows, I can see the permanent spectacle of everyday life, tourists on canal cruises, people boating or simply ducks or moorhens nesting nearby. And raindrops falling on the water (when the weather is rainy)are really poetic. i don't feel like a tourist, but like a temporary inhabitant of Amsterdam, with furthermore the soothing sensation of living in the countryside rather than in the heart of a city."

Mary Reid AUSTRALIA (10-04-2010) "After our Danube/Rhine cruise we decided to spend three nights in Amsterdam before our return to Australia. We were delighted to find that you could actually rent a houseboat. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights on the houseboat which was very centrally located (once my husband got the map up the right way!!). The accommodation was clean and well furnished and within easy walking distance of museums, the Heineken Experience and convenient public transport. It was a great experience to spend some time on the Amsterdam canals and we would recommend the experience and this accommodation to anyone."

Konstantin Shipilov RUSSIAN FEDERATION (16-01-2010) "Nice place!"

Brian Wooton United States of Amerika (24-11-2009) "The location was ideal for me. It is a short walk to de Pijp neighborhood, which is where some of the better ethnic foods are. It is a reasonable 15-20 minute walk from the downtown area, and also very convenient to the tram lines if you prefer that. It is about 5-10 minutes from the Rijkstad and Van Gogh Museums in one direction, and the Hermitage in the other. The houseboat itself is basic and not luxurious, but is clean and well cared for. The cooking facility is fine (but I would suggest the addition of a microwave for the leftover Indonesian or Indian food). The neighborhood is safe. I was very satisfied with the value for the money."

Alan Brotherton United Kingdom (14-11-2009) "Excellent value and very comfortable accommodation. I generally prefer apartments to hotels so have stayed in a lot, and this was extremely well equipped and set up, handily located near a good supermarket and within easy reach of everything. Everything worked, lots of natural light and a great outdoor terrace. The booking and check-in process was easy and helpful - the best place I have stayed in Amsterdam. "

Katelyn Schwarz United States of Amerika (24-10-2009) "The neighborhood and the accomodations were through the roof! It is in a quiet neighborhood, on a lovely canal! We felt like we were locals in this quiet environment. The houseboat was beautiful and clean! Of my 4 trips to Amsterdam, Citymundo was the easiest and most cost effective way to stay in Amsterdam. I will definately be using Citymundo again!"
